Coming into the year, people expected the offense to make up for a questionable defense.
Eight games into the year, the defense is No. 2 in the country while the offense is in the bottom half of the Big Ten. Offensive coordinator Dan Roushar has come under fire a bit after some Nebraska players said they knew what MSU was running.
