Few coaches would have done what Tom Izzo did last season: kicking Chris Allen and Korie Lucious off the team before and during the season, respectively.
Despite back-to-back Final Fours, Izzo didn't like where his program was heading, and he had to make sure everyone bought in. One year later, those decisions are paying off — admittedly much sooner than most expected.
